Four Seasons Canary Wharf

Earlier this month we second/third shot with our colleague Maria Murray at one of her weddings, and here’s a few of the pictures we got for her.  The church was in Romford and the reception at the Four Seasons Canary Wharf.

Lee the bridegroom, wired for sound and ready to rock, breaks off from talking to his mum to look anxious, while outside the bridesmaids have just arrived complete with flowergirl – the first one we’ve seen in black.

The above shot shows why full veils aren’t high on the list of wedding photographers’ favourite things, and the one below shows what a nice touch it can be when the choir turns out at the church door to welcome the happy couple.

Fay put her veil back down for the confetti-throwing, but with a lot more light outside the church than in it we were in with more of a chance.  Once the drinks reception was under way at the Four Seasons, there were some great expressions to be seen as guests checked out the snapshots of the couple, families and friends which had been laboriously collated and re-printed in sepia.  Definitely 10 bonus points for that!

As mentioned in an earlier post, this wedding was certainly different from one of ours in that Fay and Lee had gone for the full-on multi-media experience, so there was a considerable amount of “work the camera” going on before the wedding breakfast.  I’m not sure if the girls were working it for Maria or for one of the video guys in these shots, but work it they certainly did …

Once again our thanks to Maria for booking us to augment the stills coverage and even out the stills to video ratio, and to Fay and Lee for being up for it!
