A blog offshoot of www.danjohnsonphotography.co.uk mainly relating to weddings in England with the emphasis on handy hints, pertinent observations about weddings in general and stuff like that plus the occasional rant, but also including things we think are worth sharing because they’re cool or they’re just plain weird.
Hello Dan, came across your blog and really enjoyed reading it.

My cousin was at the Yervant workshop with the delegate you mentioned above. I recognized the photograph because Yervant gave out a book to all his delegates at the end of the workshop and the book had that image. The photograph was taken on the "Free Style" day where delegates were allowed to take each model away and "instruct" the models to pose using the delegate's own style. Therefore the delegate was not shooting over Yervant's shoulders. I am sure Yervant would be the best person to clarify this.

My cousin was also under the impression that the photographs taken at the workshop are allowed for competitions as apparently they were told that all photographs taken can be used in the delegates' own websites, brochures, etc. to showcase their work. So if the Kodak competition did not state of such a rule, it is perhaps why the delegate attempted to enter that image into the competition without reservation.
