Seedy Sunday

When we were organising the assignments for last week’s workshop in Brighton, we needed something which one participant could shoot on the Sunday rather than Monday.  Ann happened upon Seedy Sunday whilst trawling the internets one night, and in due course we arranged for someone to shoot it.  However, with a few days to go, our Sunday participant was allocated to a different assignment.

Rather than leave the good people of Seedy Sunday without the pictures they were looking forward to getting, Ann volunteered to cover it, which explains why at 8.30 last Sunday morning we were playing dodge-the-traffic-warden outside Hove Town Hall.  Here’s a few pictures to give you the flavour of the event …

For the benefit of any photographers wondering, those were all at ISO3200 in rather dodgy light using a 16-35/2.8L and an 85/1.8 on Canon 1DMkIII’s.  We normally shoot RAW but these were shot JPEG to show solidarity with the workshop participants, who were obliged to shoot JPEG on their assignments for the good of their souls …
